Pewpal ("Pewpal," "we," "us," or "our") operates mypewpal.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site, place an order, or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Order information. When you place an order, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details. We receive your name, email, shipping address, order contents, and order total from Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Contact form information. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number (optional), the message you send, and the church or organization you list (optional). To help us screen spam, we also automatically log the IP address and approximate location (city/region/country) associated with your submission.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) and payment processor (Stripe) may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
We use the information we collect to: process and ship your order; communicate with you about your order or inquiry; respond to questions submitted through our contact form; detect and prevent fraud or spam; and improve our products and Site.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site and fulfill orders:
We may also disclose information if required to by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pewpal, our customers, or others.
Our embedded checkout, powered by Stripe, may set cookies necessary for payment processing and fraud prevention. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
We retain order and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including recordkeeping for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing maxx@mypewpal.com. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to know what personal information we hold about you and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of.
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes.
